Hey everyone! Kaylyn here. I’ve been on this road pursuing a career in music as an independent artist for the past 6 years now and I want to thank every single one of you who has been with me on this journey so far – who’s come to a show (or multiple shows!), who has bought something from my merch table, who has encouraged me to “Keep going,” who has dropped cash in my tip jar during a performance, and to those of you who have been praying with me through this journey. Over the last 6 years my team and I have walked through many open doors – to play shows outside of Nebraska (all over the U.S.), to record my music in Nashville, and to open for some pretty big names in the country music world. Now, I find myself standing in front of this new door that I like to call, “The next level.” In order to walk through this door and to continue moving forward on this road, it’s going to take growth, training, and funding. Just like any business, a businessperson is going to invest everything they can to grow their business as big as they possibly can. They’re going to seek the knowledge they need and the training to develop their skills and get better and better. They’re going to surround themselves with people who are better than them to learn and they’re going to seek investment to help make it possible.
Recently, someone came to me and said they want to give monthly to help support me in this journey and have already started giving. This also made me think of a very dear friend of mine who started giving weekly to help support me and still is since 2019… The fact that someone would want to give to someone else’s career and journey completely blows me away.

I’m really just a girl from Nebraska who drives an old beat-up car with an attitude, and for some reason I’m out here pursuing this journey in music that is completely out of the norm – but I’ve been able to be a part of impacting lives through the gift of music and I want to do that for the rest of my life.
